Backyard Buddies
The boys stopped playing to have a juice break on our new stone wall! Greg's cousin, Mike, removed the old railroad ties, pulled up the ivy, and cleaned up our backyard. It looks so much better! Next project: landscaping!

Good Ol' Summertime!

Today marks the beginning of our summer break! We kicked it off this past weekend on West Point Lake. William and Luke Whitney had fun tubing during one of the rain breaks!

Today, I'm headed off on a much needed beach trip to Isle of Palms, SC with my girlfriends. We created a Supper Club 11 years ago and this is our first trip away without our husbands and children! I can't imagine heading to the beach with 1 bag, 1 chair, 1 small cooler and magazines! Hasta la vista, baby!

"Here Comes Peter Cotton-Tail..."

I think I love Easter more than any other holiday!
Pastels look great on everyone - especially my toe-heads!

Spring!

Happy Spring!

I realize it has been forever since I last posted. We've been so busy with holidays, birthdays, Easter, t-ball, school, and a few illnesses here and there. Only 23 more days of school and we'll have a much needed break! William is registered for kindergarten this fall and will be finishing up his last month of daycare in May! Can you say...PAYRAISE?! We are looking forward to a fun-filled summer - beach trips, summer camps, and projects around the house!

The "Ridgecrest Fleet" didn't win grand prize in the parade,
but the neighborhood children had a ball anyway! What a great day!

Welcome to the Pitts Family blog! I am so new at this, but hope to keep this site updated (we'll see). We are really enjoying summer....William is 4 and Charlie is almost 9 months. We'll be spending the 4th of July here in LaGrange. The boys will be riding in their wagon with the other neighborhood children in the "Sweet Land of Liberty" parade this Friday morning! Then, we hope to spend the day on the lake with friends!
